Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Lymph is a clear fluid comprised of plasma, white blood cells, and other substances such as fats and proteins. As lymph travels through the body, it collects waste, pathogens, and damaged cells.

Lymph nodes help filter harmful cells such as bacteria and viruses, create and store immune cells, and circulate these fluids throughout the body’s lymphatic system.

What is Manual Lymph Drainage?

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a gentle therapeutic technique that uses a pressure level equivalent to moving a coin across the counter.

The soft and subtle movement targets lymph nodes to encourage excess fluid and waste to drain.

MLD helps to combat signs of a congested lymphatic system, including:

  • Swollen hands, arms, ankles, or legs

  • Puffy, dry skin

  • Bloating

  • Fatigue and brain fog

  • Chronic sinus infections

  • Swollen lymph nodes
